Royal Huisman shipyard discusses today’s great importance of refits. A first class refit adds enormous value to every aspect of a yacht. Royal Huisman is already building yachts for decades, meaning that many of them desire to come home for updates on electronics, systems and cosmetic restoration. Once deciding on a refit, the attention of yacht owners especially goes more towards environmentally friendly solutions. Royal Huisman tested Esthec a couple of years and came to the conclusion that it is very much quality and improvement enough to comply with the high refit standards the shipyard has set. Interboat has designed a new series of tenders and recently introduced the first one to a large audience. The reactions to this Intender 770 ensure a warm welcome for the other designs of this new series. The new Intender has been equipped with Esthec and it is just this material that makes the impossible now possible: the name of the boat is completely integrated in the deck design. Brand new Saffier 23'
From the very beginning, family business Saffier Maritiem B.V. has been a mind blowing success. There is a lot of action to it: designing, racing, pleasure sailing. All the employees are very attached to the world of yachts so nothing escapes their attention. Copa del Rey 2009
Out of the hands of H.M. Juan Carlos king of Spain, skipper R.W. Bol received the 28th Copa Del Rey. For decades the Copa del Rey is one of the most prestigious Sailing events for both amateur and professional sailor. The whole week the ‘No Limits’, wich is fitted with the new Esthec® composite deck, performed in really challenging conditions, with winds from 5kt to 25kt. Yacht Vision - Saffier
Not a single remarkable yacht can excape Yacht Vision, in which viewers are spoiled with detailed information about the fortunes of extraordinary boats and yachts. No wonder the Saffier 26 open daysailer, crowned as European Yacht of the Year 2008/2009, sailed along this program to reveal all the ins and outs. A race yacht with classic lines and easy to navigate by one person thanks to the many extras. There are several other assets, among which the deck. Presentator Epco lets out that this is not made of teak, but of synthetic so it is maintenance free and available in different colours on top of that. Exactly, this can only mean one thing: it's an Esthec deck!
